Would you start generating leads now, and start booking in late October? Or when do you start generating leads for open enrollment?

I would start now. Lots of SEPs that we can use to enroll now: right now, we have sale on the Facebook ad course. $500 off

I would love to get more carriers if possible. I am also looking for a system that has a built in auto dialer as well as a crm for my clients. Can you please share any info with me. Texas is becoming more and more saturated .. with agents advertising in Texas is driving the leads Cost Up. What used to be pretty cheap to advertise, the leads cost are starting to rise slowly but substantially.
@thinkmedicarethinkaca9 ай бұрын
I agree!! I was paying between $4 - $7 per lead. Now it is almost $15 a lead.

at that cost, it is still good and you can make your ROI back if you can sell 1 out 15.

How do you figure $400K in commission for around 1,300 apps? I understand cross-selling into other products and multiple apps per household, but I read a lot about low retention rates for ACA, some as low as 58%. It seems the biggest challenge with ACA is retention, so how many stay on for 12+ months? With leads at $15/piece and close 1/20, that's $300 cost for one app for maybe only $20pm? ACA doesn't sound like a sustainable model unless you cross-sell the hell out of them. What I am missing?
@thinkmedicarethinkaca5 ай бұрын
58% retention. That sucks!! My retention is no where near that. It must the the craps leas that they are running. Probably bait and switch ads, like the free $500 Visa Gift card. My retention is in the 80% range.
@thinkmedicarethinkaca5 ай бұрын
1300 member x $20PMPM = $32,500 x 12 months = $390k. Plus all the ancillaries.
@thinkmedicarethinkaca5 ай бұрын
here is another though on crappy retention: the agent sucks. what value is the agent bringing to the table. When they enrolled the insured, did they get the insured's why, did they personalized the coverage or did they just choose the cheapest plan, did they check the network and formulary, did they explain the the metal plan options (pros & cons), and possible out of pockets, and did they discuss ways to limit those exposures. for those agents with that crappy of a retention ratio, my guess, is NOT
@LS1Obsession5 ай бұрын
@@thinkmedicarethinkaca Sorry, I must be missing a number here, 1300x20=$26K x 12=$312K? Also, roughly how many ACA clients would you say are able to enroll in the ancillaries? 1/10? Thanks for taking the time to respond.
