Interesting vid! Congrats on finishing the Leadville 100. I wake up about 2:30am for most of my races - adjusting sleep schedule doesn’t work for me, I just try to go to bed a little earlier. Agree that it’s important to reduce salt in your food before and during the race. Also agree, gotta watch the gooch area!

Great video. Stunning that you went from a single marathon to the ultra. Points to your underlying fitness. I am never going to do one of these…but if I did I reckon I’d bandage each of my toes individually beforehand, stop them rubbing directly against each other from the outset.😂

Thanks for the update. I can only admire your ability to take on this challenge, prepare for it, and then do it, with all the punishment that comes along with this effort. You demonstrate such great physical and mental strength and endurance, I am in awe of you. One question I still have is, I don't recall if I have ever heard you say whether you actually finished, and if so, made it within the 30 hour target. Another question would be: were you listening to anything like music when you are running this, or do you prefer to be in the present moment with your surroundings?
