Nice option. I actually use my belly mower to blow the leaves off my driveways, does a decent job. 😊

I was thinking the same thing. I use my mower deck to do the same thing.

Saw a guy few weeks ago doing leaf work at his house with a 3 point mounted pto driven blower.... of course I stopped and talked with him. Turns out it was a Buffalo Turbine Cyclone PTO and yes the price matches the loooong name. Probably best for municipality work.... or guys with a open checkbook. My point is that this one you feature offers great performance at a mangable price point. Always enjoy your vids, many thanks.

Yeah, I considered repping Buffalo, but price was the breaking point for me.

Got my wheel spacers today from bora I got the 1 1/2 inch steel ones for my 1025 r for more space for the tire chains. Hope they work with my 60 inch mower deck. Thanks for the discount

@@GoodWorksTractors when it snows you should use that blower to blow snow
@badgerlandturf Жыл бұрын
That 1025 looks like a nimble machine to get in and out of those trees. You noticed the reach limitation once and you’re pretty tall. If you had the loader off and using the other 2” receiver it would shorten it up but then it wouldn’t have the lift/tilt feature. I bet that would blow some light snow GREAT!
@GoodWorksTractors Жыл бұрын
Yeah, I may look into getting the extension, but I hope to be using this on my cab tractor next time. Gotta see what I need for that.

On behalf of motorcycle riders - thanks for trying your best to not blow leaves onto the roadway! Pretty powerful blower. I would think if they offer the extension you talked about, just make the cable longer. Or offer the unit with selectable lengths. And once you're done, try convincing the wind to not blow the leaves back.
@GoodWorksTractors Жыл бұрын
Yeah, tough to keep all those leaves off, but cleaned up them right up! I think they should make it longer, but gotta remember that a loader mounted setup like this is probably one of the least common ways they expect this to be used. Longer than 5' is an inconvenience on many machines. Not worried about the wind though, someone brought that up after the last video. I thought about showing it in this one, but ran out of time. Hardly a leaf on the ground where I blew them away. Not much of an issue.
@everydaydad30545 ай бұрын
I’m sure someone else has said it but you should work with them on making a hydraulic shoot adjuster that you can use the third function to change the direction of the blower. Maybe you mentioned it already and I missed it

1st thing I'd do is remove the receiver and weld it to a SSQA plate. with all that bobbing around on Bumpy Surfaces I can see a Failure of some kind.. How heavy is that Courtney ?? Mike M.

10/10, the next upgrade might need to be the blower's-intake that is less likely to clog with leaves.

The problem i see with this is if the loader drops to the ground it could break that elbow. the magnetic release is good for hitting thing but a direct down drop from the loader would be an issue. if there was a caster on the hitch section of the frame it would stop it from dropping to the ground. maybe add caster wheels as an option to the versa bracket, pull out the stand offs and replace with casters?
@GoodWorksTractors Жыл бұрын
Then don't mount it on a loader. You can mount it on the 3 point, on the front frame, on a zero turn, utv, atv, garden tractor, mini dump, truck, etc. Just one option of many.
@dirtydirtdirt Жыл бұрын
@@GoodWorksTractors I thought of that. i can see the need for a caster even on the 3pt. every bump you go over could potentially knock off the magnetic elbow. having a caster there and since the 3pt floats it would never hit the ground. ground is not always flat so driving into a small swale could knock off the elbow.

Recently I saw two workers in my small community moving leaves off the street, we are densely wooded and have tons of leaves on our streets many in front of vacant lots. They used a back pack blower and the BUCKET of a JD I thought WHAT🤨 wearing out your bucket and using to much fuel and labor. I just sent an email to my city council along with your video.

Great for paved areas but not so good for lawns and gravel , Too much blower with not enough control . Blows all the loose dirt and fines away along with the leaves

It has a throttle control, so it can be as much or as little blower as you want.

sorry but this piece of equipment is way overpriced and what i consider a waste of resources... half the price and you can have a leaf vac.... just get rid of the leaves
@GoodWorksTractors Жыл бұрын
Do you use your leaf vac to clean off parking lots of debris, how about to clear snow off the parking lots and driveways? Leaf vacs are great, but one trick ponies. I like versatility from my tools. Plus, I can mount this on basically any machine that I own.
@sneak6654 Жыл бұрын
@brian644 It might be an overpriced piece of equipment for the average residential homeowner, but for lawn maintenance companies that have to clean up large properties where time is money , with this leaf blower mounted to a small tractor, skid steer, side by side etc, one employee can do the work of 5 or 6 employees with back pack gas leaf blowers and do it faster. The more properties you can clean up per day the more money you make and your return on investment will come sooner rather than later.
