You can hold CTRL to see food numbers on the plants or animals if you are in freeplay or playing as non leafcutters. it makes it easier to see what leaves still have food

freeplay has all the rainforrest enemies in it now you could make a video on that and if u use your formicarium ants in freeplay you also get the majors and the upgrades for them too carry over

@@FrazzzYT Did they ever update it so that the leaves grow back? it seems like leafcutter ants have a problem in this game where they reach a point of running out of food whilst other ants can still hunt more.

you should make a clear path from the queen to the nest entrance and each chamber, ants are slower when running through tiles other than speed tiles Refuse chambers especially should have their own hallway and have a deadend so the bigger ants dont walk through it.

I'd never do that. From experience if anything comes through the entrance they make a straight beeline to the Queen. Id rather avoid that

There are always a few ants near the entrance and spiders are the only things that ignore your ants for a few seconds when they into your nest ( they go to your eggs first and then to your queen and then act like normal) what I'm trying to tell you is based on my own experience I have 200 hours in this game. What i mean is that u should have your food tiles to the side a little. u had your workers bringing eggs to their tiles walking through the food tiles (which slows them) making your nest less efficient
