My pond and channel favor a minimalist approach to pond construction both from a cost and chore perspective. I also really dislike the look of a net over the water. The intake bay takes care of everything for us.

Be cool to put a net on the bottom of the intake bay so you can lift them all out at once 🤔

This is a cool idea! My pond has too many dogs and children romping around in the intake bay to make it work for me just yet.
