You have to be just all laid back as heck!! The whole time watching this, I was nervous, afraid that the kids were gonna get in the grease, put it on everything, eat it, spread it on each other, grab huge handfuls of it, and just generally destroy the entire amount of grease you had on hand!! You were like, here, I need to get my kids to do this!! KIDS! Come here....spread this everywhere!! AND GET PLENTY!! I have more... lol

Lucas Marine Grease. Works just as well and comes in grease tubes for grease guns that also make things easier. And I totally agree, they do not send enough grease from the factory.

I bought some bushings for my jeep but they seem to big to fit in the leaf eye i wonder if i have the wrong ones or they have to enter by force?
@GebBuilt

I've had some that I squeezed together in a vice before and others that pushed in by hand. I hope that helps, God bless!

would anti-seize work?
@GebBuilt
@GebBuilt 6 жыл бұрын
That is a great question and I do not know how it would react with the material. God bless!

I have always been told that petroleum based products swell rubbers/plastics. Use a silicone based lubricant (not never-seize). I may be wrong, but it has always turned out well for me :)

I've never seen or heard of that grease you're using there, but polyurethane bushings require SILICONE grease. Silicone lube preserves the bushing as well as repels water.
