Easy Anthurium Pollination & Seeds Guide

This is a full guide on how to pollinate Anthurium plants. I documented the whole process from flower pollination, to berry harvest, and seed germination over 9 months. Spoiler alert it went so well that I got hundreds of anthurium baby plants out of it...entirely for free. My piper never seems to give me viable female stage. :/ but it keeps pollinating all the time

Hi Katerina, I don't own any Pipers unfortunately so I'm not of much help to you 😅. However, I have noticed that not all of my Anthuriums have visible stigmatic fluid, whenever there is an inflorescence. I have read it's due to immaturity ... maybe it's similar to your piper. Additionally, I notice that the stigmatic fluid is more prominent when the plant is well watered. Maybe this helps 💚

Bei Alocasien ist das ein bisschen anders weil der Blütenstand anders aufgebaut ist. Ich habe es einmal versucht mit der Bestäubung aber es hat damals leider nicht geklappt. Soweit ich mich erinnere wachsen oben die Männlichen Blüten mit Pollen und unten in dieser "Hülle" befinden sich die Weiblichen Blüten. EIgentlich geht das nur wenn Insekten da rein krabbeln. Man kann diese Hülle aber entfernen und dann Manuell bestäuben. Wahrscheinlich ist meine Beschreibung nicht so hilfreich. Einfach mal googeln es gibt da auf jeden Fall info zu. Liebe Grüße 😊
