Now this is a nice throwback. 2014 was around the time I started to get in to League. This was the first major thing I ever saw about it outside of the game, and it was amazing to see just how major this game was. (I was still young in 2014, so I didnt exactly have a good scope of the world stage :P)

Faker is not in it, because at that time he wasn't a 3 time champion yet. He won his first world's in 2013. His second win is in 2015 and his third win is in 2016. Also faker was an upcoming rookie in season 3, which was 2013. So yeah he was famous and around 2014 people started calling him the best player in the world. But the cinematic is made earlier, so in no way would they feature faker.
