I believe some of the temperatures listed are a little misleading. For CPUs: 60 degrees is actually a relatively low load temperature for most modern ones. Intel's own website lists most of their "safe" temps at around 85. For GPUs: 80 is not a meltdown zone. most cards dont even start to automatically throttle until 85 degrees. 90 should be where you really get worried, but even then, a few cards like the R9 290X and the Titan X can normally run at nearly 100 degrees.

+Vohcaz To clarify though, this is only with the R9 290X's stock cooler, which has a reputation for getting very hot, and very loud, even though it still works fine.

i have a Sapphire RX 460 D5 Nitro and its around 45-47 degrees -- im not the expert about hardware.. this pc i've got is a build from my friend.. should i be worried? :/

+Le King Not really, no. Running at 45-47 isn't usually a bad sign, so your card should be fine. That being said, if you notice the performance dropping, and your case feels hot, then you should probably make sure the fan and heatsink are clean. If they are and you still get throttling, something might be wrong with your card or its cooling.

*For the love of god* If you have a desktop with a graphics card *please* install a gpu fan monitoring program like for example msi afterburner and set a custom fan curve. Otherwise your gpu _will_ overheat.

holy shit hahahaha, 60c meltdown/danger for a CPU? you guys havent owned at i7 920 or P4 extreme, those things could rund 95c for a long time without shutting down lol and 80c meltdown for a GPU cmon
