I remember I started playing league in season 1. I was only 14 years old... Man I remember that I loved the "Seasons Maps" I don't know why there isn't a Christmas Map or Halloween Map anymore. Also loved 3vs3 Twisted Treeline in Halloween. To think that there are players that will never know about those maps because they were too young back in the day. Above all I think I loved season 3-4 of LoL, when they first implemented the League System in ranked and the game started to become a world hit (also loved those seasons because they were the tank seasons).

@@Eaglelioncourt Exactly! LoL used to have that dark fantasy theme in general, but it has been completely scrapped in favor of skinn selling anime girls and boys. Now even the horse (hecarim) has abs and every female character is meant to be attractive, and the general game has a more bright tone to it. I really miss that old League of legends, even though now it's actually somewhat better gameplay wise (people that says otherwise are talking by nostalgia, the gameplay is better now... The thing that's worse is the theme, that it's a crash grab. But then again, can't complain about that, the game is free)

I love nighttime environments. Also duo melee bot is so much funner than the regular ADC/Sup combo. Older theme is worse though.

I fully agree tbh. Looking at this made me really think back to when there wasn't some huge sense of urgency in every moment of the game. Now that there's all these champs with tons of mobility and insane carry potential, topped off with the degree to which gameplay and pacing has been optimized. It just makes for a rushed experience the entire time, it's hard to stop and appreciate anything that's going on when you have to rush to the next objective or push for some advantage every single second of the game. I miss the good ol' days when mobility was limited to a select few champions, and everyone was still generally floundering around trying to figure out what they were doing so everything was way slower paced.

It's super impressive how much content is still in the game, I imagine that some of the boots items in the store were redrawn almost exactly the same but in higher resolution or slightly cleaner. season 3 is still the best season for me. Almost all the boys in school played it, formed a team, challenged other classes. It was fun back then, currently I still play it every late night but not enjoy anymore, I and my friends just don't know or don't like which games that fast, fun, not time consuming to play together. Bro Pre Season 1 was the best. Taric+ Garen bot lane was insane, and a semi stacked sion was a literal god back then . Gave Sion Leviathan, Warmogs, Force of Nature, and some Armor Item, and he was unkillable, like literally. And just 1 atmas impaler with phantom dancer would make him an unstoppable killing machine

I've only recently gotten into League, and I honestly am SHOCKED that this is what the game looked like! It's like... reminiscent of what it is today but so very different. Specifically I think it's kinda funny that the graphics, animations, and UI are all wildly different, but the many of the sounds are the exact same.
