@ I couldn’t agree more. Fortiche and Riot took a gamble on the artistic merit of Arcane without the comfort of a precedent project garnering high enough profits. Their commitment to match the 3D models to 2D concept art is phenomenal. They spent 6 years creating the first season, with each animator completing 0.7-1.0 seconds of animation every day, and it shows.

Konbini just released an interview of the directors of Fortiche (in French but there are English subtitles). When Fortiche delivered the first animation of Arcane to Riot it was so good that Riot realised the story they had written wasn't up to the standard of the animation and had to re-write the entire thing.
