Vi being an enforcer is not a surprise... Vi was always a law enforcer in the lore! Not like Caitlyn, but still... Arcane changed her a bit from the previous version because before she joined the law enforcers because she had memory loss, this time she joins to somehow stop her sister, while she doesn't really likes to be an enforcer because she blames the enforcers for killing her parents... I think this is a good approach for VI, lets see how she deals with this duality!

Best thing they can do. Tell an amazing story that doesn't overstay it's welcome while moving on to explore the rest of the world and give the rest of the wide and diverse cast their due. The other great thing about the approach is that it means when they hopefully do some kind of mega crossover style Avengers event, seeing the season 1 and 2 characters come back will hit that much harder.

I'm kinda scared that he might not gonna have a lot of screen time in the finale. But I think that he still might play a part in helping to find a somewhat peaceful solution to all the conflict. I think that brief interaction he had with Heimerdinger really showed his potential for that. Either way, I do hope we might still see him have a bit more of a proper character arc, because it's sad to see how cynical he is... He's one of the few characters who feel like he's actually grounded in reality instead of chasing some lofty dream, but that also stilted his growth a bit. (In a way, he actually has some parallels to Vander.)

The studio that does the animation style like this is Fortiche, a pretty small studio in Paris. Arcane is their most popular creation so far, but I think they're more up-and-coming so I'd say we should hopefully see more of their work soon.

For those confused about the 'final season' thing. From what I've heard, they are planning to make other shows in this style that explore other parts of the league of legends world. I am not sure if this was confirmed, but if true it would make sense. "Arcane" is the story of Piltover with Jinx and Vi as the main focus. But we will get other stories that further explore this universe. EDIT:Yeah I checked, the co-creator confirmed they are looking into making projects for more champions.

I think we can often forget (because of how the rocket scene was more of a vi-jinx scene) that during the rocket attack, Caitlyn lost her mom. There's a chance she also lost jayce since the writers said they're not afraid of killing off champions. So yeah i wouldn't be surprised if she'll want to tear jinx to pieces. And considering that vi is going to be an inforcer and they might be closer romantically in general as the plot moves forward, it could create some interesting tension with Caitlyn's entire goal being making jinx pay for her crimes

For people confused by Final Chapter it means the story of Zaun and Piltover not Arcane itself, they stated that Arcane was gonna be split between all the regions and stories of League of Legends instead of a singular casts of characters. Interesting that Caitlyn calls the underside "Zaun" in this trailer; in the first season, the only people who consistently referred to it as Zaun were people still fighting for its independence, such as Silco. The only time someone from Piltover called it Zaun occurred when Jayce told Silco, "Get me Jinx, and I'll get you your Nation of Zaun". In short, calling it Zaun was a sign of believing it should be independent of Piltover.

Finished the first season in one night. Only 3 shows including this one got me that hooked, ever. I won't dishonor it or my top 3 shows by ranking them. I started this season during a hard time in my life right now. So much chaos and problems. I resonate w the chaos in the first season, everyone has their own scarred battle to fight on top of the chaos and war that is engulfing their cities. Of course nothing is perfect. But this is perfect to me. Oh and I also used to play LoL so yeah that's a plus. Absolutely loved seeing the characters come to life with their lores. Nostalgic as well.
