She still is careful to follow rules so people still inside don't get hurt, she tells people not to laugh when she talks about the doctrine. They surrounded her with handlers and staff who were all Scientologists and whose job it was to keep her involved. The first "courses" are literally self-help courses that Hubbard cribbed from other books, so when she took them it didn't seem like anything nefarious. She also never got to see any of the dark side because Tom never sees any of the dark side. The celebs are treated like royalty and whatever they want they get - as long as they are super famous. Miscavige is practically in love with Cruise and has gone through great lengths to make sure Tom is never unhappy or sees anyone unhappy with the church. People who join as adults or even teens are always at a low point in their life and they feel desperate. I know a bunch of Scientologists and the ones who joined as adults all had a terrible story to tell as to what led them to the "church." It's a cult and they break you down, then build you back up as they want you to be. Poor people never get beyond "clear" to the OT levels because they don't have the money. No money no enlightenment - they're just not told that.

All religions are fake. They all use their status to manipulate people from free thoughts and critical thinking. Look what’s happening in USA Today; fundamentalist Christians REALLY believe Donald trump is tied to the second coming of Christ. That is why they defend him tooth and nail. Look at Catholicism, they set up a whole system of molestation and sexual assault along with protection of predators. Look how many in Islam going after each other (Sunni vs. Shia); Hindus attacking people who have eaten or they accuse of eating beef; and Netanyahu who had corrupted Israel into a practice of possible Apartheid against Palestinians (which many, ie Hamas, were initially radicalized to attack Israel). Narcissistic leaders twist spiritualism into a macabre of twisted rituals called religion.

Stephanie Colangelo the reason why they are doing that is because Leah is the antithesis of how they recruit new members. If you are not like Leah Remini, brought in by family they try to bring you in by the most seductive way possible. I know from personal experience in a mall of all places. An attractive woman, in an unmarked kiosk stopped me asking if I would like to take a stress test. Going through a lot of stress at the time I accepted. After her fallacy of a test she said "oh boy you have so much stress in your life. Wouldn't it be liberating to have the answers to why you are feeling this way and take control?" Of course I answered... That's when she turned the heat up. Explaining L Ron Hubbard and his teachings (not mentioning the doctrine by name, scientology) whilst engaging in a ever convincing tone, deep eye contact, whilst holding and rubbing my arm I suddenly realized I was being sucked into a cult by this highly trained, possibly unwitting scam artist of a woman. I suddenly pulled back and told her. "Sure I have questions but don't need a cult for the answers" if I could show you the change in her eyes at that split second Stephanie it would explain everything about scientology without a single word.
@TabithaStabitha6 жыл бұрын
MtbMickey408 Also at a mall, I'm so glad I told this very attractive man that I had absolutely no stress and that I was clearly a living miracle as everyone in life has stress but me, praise the Lord! What I do really like about Leah is that she keeps her calm and is supporting others who have left and been affected. When trying to look at it subjectively.. it can be hard because some may see me as a betrayer but this is not about me.. but looking at the issues that I can personally see that might be damaging. If I believe in what I do I try to be considerate within that. To help reduce the amount of damage done, because at the end of the day we are talking about real people.. with real hurts. To be allowed to talk about certain issues allows for the issues to be considered and weighed up from both sides. Family members do suffer too. That's what I would like to see reduced as much as possible.

So she came home her parents got her and Suri a New York apartment and looked after her, and she had her heavy new security who scared off the scientology security.
