I dig the Apelinq so far since it's the same mold as Primal but the one thing I'd change on it is add more silver paint to it to differentiate the two, but that's no problem for me cuz i have some metallic silver markers to paint over some of the black

I honestly feel like it’s more worth to get the Takara Primal and the Upgrade Kit that includes Apelinq parts to get a better looking Apelinq than whatever this is. It gives a better size but we’ll have to see I guess

While I really can't be bothered with any of these best designs from the movie, I'm actually surprised Hasbro changed anything at all with the main figure. I think it was already a given Apelinq would already be nothing more than a minor retool of the Primal mode as very little budget will be attributed to a minor character from a movie a year and a half ago. From here on out I can see SS feeding most of their budget into more 86 movie, and further Bayverse designs as those are the ones that really sell. Kinda sad though as the SS release of ROTB Voyager Prime will be a straight repack as it could use some further improvements over the Buzzworthy release.

Ngl Chris this looks amazing thought it was a upgrade kit but hope this toy gets cheap cuz primal was exspensive like 9.99 or something like that there were lots and I mean lots of nines for the price tag for primal so hope apelinq is cheap love the toy

My thoughts on the figure are holy shit, that is hot garbage. I like the arms and both heads. The rest is the same as primal and it looks like hit shit because of it. I do appreciate more silver paint on the bot mode legs though; it's more to differentiate Apeling from Primal. I'll wait till I see more, but i think I'll be going with yolopark apeling even though it is not accurate due to being in robot mode. Hell I might get this still because I collect the entire ss line, so idk what I'll do.
