Considering that this game is made by Kuro, fun and challenging gameplay is pretty much guranteed, also Kuro is pretty good at storytelling so we can expect a decent story, all that is left is pray for fair RNG in grinding department and good gacha system (if they learned their lessons with PGR i hope they just take the gacha system from there)

It is literally a copy of Genshin, with the only significant difference being that it is faster in terms of combat system and movement. Otherwise it is literally a Genshin. Exploring the empty world for chests, energy (yes, spend 40 to pick up boss rewards. lmao they didn't even change that) and stuff like that. I don't know what this game is supposed to entice. It's literally a PGR situation that no one plays at the end of the day. That one was similarly just a copy of Honkai with a more faster combat system. Kuro doesn't learn anything

TEC may not see much in these mini games where you "float around an area very slowly", I already find it interesting because it's a way for you to "scan the area" without having to make any effort. Not to mention you can use this to see if there are mini bosses without having to alert every mob in the area.

I love the thing they do with the monster summons. It reminds me of another great RPG fighting game where you transform into monsters mid-combo to use the monster's special, and quick attacks before continuing the combat seamlessly.

if you want/can you should try punishing gray raven. its a game also made by Kuro and was made as a test on combat focus and testing gameplay to help make wuthering waves even better. Currently PGR has the best combat system for mobile games, so I recommed you try it. PGR also has one of the most forgiving Gachas in all mobile gacha's, because in return p2w is less effective and f2p is more effective

Looking at how generic it's travel i think you'll experience the same at launch. The only unique thing WW has is its unique atmosphere and tones. Heck in terms of world exploration ToF still at the top with its relic and stuff, not to mention they recently released underworld map exploration.

Wall running is just so much more fast paced and fluid. Just that little thing makes a huge difference in gameplay. No more do you climb a tall mountain for this material that exist in this one area of the world. you just run up there. This game should really make ToF worried. While I still like and play that game. Compare these 2 games side by side and it's a night and day difference in quality. Genshin isn't going away anytime soon from this game existing, it's not gonna be in the red with this, but ToF is already in a downward slope for most people. Its' already terrible reputation is much more fragile. I don't think it'll kill it immediately, but the downward trend it's headed to right now will only get steeper. I know original Chinese version was also in a downward trend and managed to recover, but it's hard to say if it can replicate said recovery. It's rare for that to happen once, let alone twice. I don't like comparing any of these games to each other, especially ToF specifically as that one is an MMO, but Tower of Fantasy really needs to up its game.

biggest concern is that it looks too easy in all of the demonstrations, hopefully it will pick up the intensity like pgr. the exploration and movement look smooth tho

Look at the level differences. Player is Lvl 15 while enemies are around levels 7-8. Plus, these are just regular overworld enemies to farm materials. You wouldn't want farming monster to be too difficult to kill, otherwise, grinding would be a pain.

looks really cool only thing I hope they change is the enemy AI being more aggressive and hit harder, any game with a timed dodge mechanic should give you a good reason to get good with it. Also the amount of "stuff" you pick up, less would probably be more less chests and random things but when you find em' make it worth it. Idk maybe it's just me but seeing how much stuff and how many chests they grabbed in the gameplay looked kind of annoying or tedious and makes the chests/items seem absolutely worthless considering the rapid frequency you get them in.

it depends on which side WW wants to focus on. If its exploration then there needs to be enough of it and map expansions. If not then its just another genre with 'open-world' slapped on top of it

I am too excited for this game, but also sad at the same time because of how new Genshin/Zelda like game is slowly surpassing genshin every single year. Yes, it won't surpass Genshin popularity, but you can't deny it's superiority when it comes to Wuthering Waves combat animation and enviromental effect. I hope Fontaine update gonna surprise us though.
