Thanks for doing all of these maintenance videos. I own a 02 miata and helps me get my maintenance up to date. If you were gonna change the fluids, why didn't you just go with race brake fluid with higher temp tolerance? It costs a little bit more, but will prevent any squishiness in future autocross/track days..

Good heads up on the pressure on the lines that could bend you line and telling us it's a 12mm. Lots of videos of just talking with no pertinent information. Telling us it's a 12 saves back and forth time with other sockets. Good on ya. But as for being a LOT easier, attach a few extensions on an 8mm and you can reach the bleeder valve screw from directly next to your intake manifold. Also, if you adjust your seat, you can use a common household broom by taking the year off and pinning it between the pre-oumped clutch and the seat-back.

Sometimes it’s difficult to get the flared nut lined up straight if the hydraulic cylinder is bolted down. I’ve had better luck at times starting the line before attaching the cylinder to the studs.

There’s no pressure in the line unless you have the clutch pedal depressed. And you can bleed it by your self with a hand pump vacuumed bleeder. But good video all in all
@negativeindustrial4 жыл бұрын
I can’t get mine to bleed with a vacuum bleeder and finding another human capable of lending a hand has become impossible. I just bought the speed bleeder check valve for the clutch line bleed valve. I guess we’ll see if this helps. I’m getting chatter at start up after swapping the slave.
