my favorite strat is to stim get some damage a knock (dont push to far in and keep some cover/distance) take a second stim back, use a syringe + batt then right before it pops off stim again and ur full hp

Just wanna point out one thing here 5:10 for the people who can't do it, this only works best on high fps due to how tap strafing works on different fps, the more fps the more tap strafe registers, minimum 144, it's not worth doing on low fps such as 60+, as you are just basically going to get launched into the air even with a slide. i'd recommend doing only 6:15 for low fps players. have fun. :)

wrong about that minimum number, i average around 90-100 and am very good at ts. but yeah the lower the fps like even 40-50, its not useful at all

He did the final tap strafe out of coyote time (basically the grace period after you go off a ledge to still get a jump input).

It is worth it, if you are good at the game octane will be good since octane is fast

For sure, this guide is mostly about advanced movement but Octane in general is a super fun legend, and totally viable IMO (my only ever 4K was on Octane). My tips are just to follow what Leamonhead said in the video about using stim to reposition mid-fight and not to spam while running around the map. So basically, 1. don’t be afraid to use his pad frequently because it recharges so quickly. 2. Don’t be afraid to stim mid-fight, even at close range in a 1 v 1. The amount of damage stimming does to your HP is made up for by making yourself way harder to hit. Have fun!

I mean it does say "master's guide" so I guess it's meant for people who already have a grasp of playing movement and can understand what hes actually doing just by watching... Personally as a movement player I found this video to be pretty straight foward with clear demonstrations (and keyboard cam!) making sure to point out differences between techs (for example double jump tap strafe vs pad tap strafe)
