Thanks to you and Andi and OMNI for a great rom! I've ran and tested a bunch but this is by far the most stable and smoothest rom for the tab2. Omni and lineage 7 are a bit too much for this tablet. The looks and style on Lean6 are perfect. Magisk works great. loaded the bubbles animated wallpaper with the clock widget and no slowdowns. Battery life is good.

Hell Yeah ! Installed smoothly and works fine. Before this rom I used Lineage 14.1 but my GT-P5110 was slow as hell. Not happy with it :-( So I took a previous version , Lineage 13.0 . Worked better but again not flawless. KZbin for example was showing videos with a lot of stuttering :-( Than I found this video with the LEAN rom , and I must say it works fine up to now but I'm only testing at this moment. Installation was a fine experience ;-) Up to now I had the following issues : 1. Only problem I had after installing the rom was copying app icons on the desktop. It did not work like in your video. (6:36) I had to open edit settings and activate reset app visibility first before it was possible to make a shortcut to any app on the desktop. The walpapers, widget and home settings buttons didn't show up before I did this. Don't know why ?!? Google Icons on the other hand did work like a charm ! 2. the RadioDroid app opens empty. By this I mean there is only a blank screen with no radio channels at all. In your video 17:25 , it shows a lot of channels at start up. Tried to search a channel , 2rock for example, but it doesn't seem to find any channel at all.... I tried to change the setting general/start action to "show all stations" but this didn't help. Do you know what goes wrong ?? 3. NewPipe worked fine and I received an update right away. version=0.19.8 at the moment. I can watch a video without problems, but with auto play on it seems to freeze after the second video is at the end. The video stops, and instead of jumping to the next video, it only shows a black screen with 00:00 as video length as you click on the screen. (+ pauze ,forward and backwards buttons) 4. Dolphin works fine, but when I surf to a website with a lot of pictures ( like a news website for example ) , the browser struggles to show the webpage. Could it be a memory issue , because NewPipe also struggles ? If so how can I tackle this ? I have no extra apps installed , only the LEAN rom , and the average used memory shows 63 % already... Amazing feedback about the apps moving a reboot is required to fix things 😊 radiodroid suddenly is acting stupid and will be replaced soon for a similar app or maybe even fork if Radiodroid - to fix go to fdroid with browser and download radiodroid apk and just install on top - will work again - Newpipe is nit yet perfect but it will be - please watch my today upload and make your own radio app or even tv or youtube app in a wink - hope to hear from you there

I already flash with Odin3_ver3.14.4 the the original factory firmware and it is a pass flash! now I need to do the second step, to install the recovery file, but it is no going well with Philz touch recovery file, my tablet did not recognized the file in sd card! I am stock with first step! I followed the video, but in some way, I got lost! huh... need to upgrade the os, because sometimes the touch scree is unresponsive and need to reboot! need your advice, step by step... Thank you...

you must do advanced wipe select dalvik data system cache then reboot back recovery flash rom reboot

Hi there, I installed this ROM: LEAN-Experience-OffcialOMNI-espressowifi-FINAL(P3110, P3113, P5110, P5113), the process of installation is ok (I follow the same steps like you, in TWR), when I finished the installation and REBOOT SYSTEM, the TAB goes to boot, but the screen remains in black, while show the logo (G) and a thin white line is going from left to right side. I was waiting till 30 minutes. Any idea about this issue? Regards!

do a format data in twrp then reboot back recovery copy file to internal .. wipe cache aystem data dalvik in advace wipe - reboot bck into recovery .. then install rom

Hi. I wanted to ask you some help, if you can. I've got an Alcatel 1S 5024D phone, treble supported, currently running AOSP 10 GSI. When I try to install Android 11 it just bootloops. Can you please help me? Can it be a because it has a Spreadtrum processor? Also, for my phone there is no TWRP. There is a TWRP image that boots but touch works once every 10 boots and it's impossible to use sliders. If you could someway help me I would be very thankful

wow I would love to help only I have no Alcatel - The reboots are because vendor maybe not available ,, and no Twrp show that there is no support yet - go to xda-developers.com and research the development and support for your device 😀🤚

@@channel48 There is no thread for it on xda, only one on 4pda, but we ain't that expert. The device has a vendor partition, in fact aosp 10 gsi boots. I tried also Erfan Q and R with no success. Even if you don't have Alcatel, if I sent you the vendor image and the twrp, could you try to solve the twrp problem, and maybe look into the vendor image to see what's the problem? Anyway, I flash gsi roms via fastboot

Hi, i used the expresso from onmniOS updated to june 23, 2020, android nougat, it was installed ok, but i can't see any video from youtube.

@@channel48 the problem was that i installed first brave nightly browser in order to access youtube with no adds option, and even i can see the miniatures, when i play the video, it only shows the dark screen with the loading circle stuck but the sound working; i thougth it was a matter of the browser, but when i installed opera browser for the same reasons, the same happened. I thought the tablet could not play any video archive, but it has no problems with the video files i upload to the micro sd card installed.

@@channel48 There are good news, when i installed the rom, it came with a browser named "lightning" (i did not pay attention to it since the begginin), after many tries on brave, brave nightly and opera, and with the same problem with newpipe... i gave a try on that "lightning" browse, finally i could watch videos on youtube (from the browser) and as far as i know, with no adds or video adds, i also installed duckduckgo browser and it also worked on youtube videos, so, for me that's enoguh, thanks a lot for your advices, now i did not installed the open_gapps, how could i install it in order to get the rest of the apps?

Hi Puck, thanks for all the great vid tutorial re Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 etc! I just installed this Omni Lean Experience and like it :) I do have one problem though...Netflix is very unstable on all the ROMs I've tried. It's stopping with error messages or crashing all the time. I have tried with Lineage 14, Lineage 13, even CM 13 and now this version of Omni and they are all the same regarding Netflix. What can I do? These days my main reason for using my old Galwaxy Tab 2 10.1 P5110 is for watching video and streaming, so Netflix not working is a big deal for me. Is this a known problem? Can you offer any advice for this issue?
