Sams gained a father figure in Mr. Clark, as well as Kennesha and all the students.
@MrGruffteddybear3 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, the actor who played Sams learned nothing. He was arrested on December 15, 2011, for attempting to purchase 200 pounds (91 kg) of marijuana from an undercover cop. He previously faced up to five years in prison, but was sentenced to 30 days in jail and three years' probation. Hopkins was arrested again on October 13, 2017 in Apex, North Carolina with 5.7 pounds (2.6 kg) of marijuana in the trunk of his car.

I kind of agree with you as well. But, at the same time I think that it's better if it stays as it ended. Some movies are better of not having sequels. Besides some of them might have changed their acting carriers for something else. Just saying.

some movies are just so good they don't need a sequel. However, I understand what you mean...but Me personally I think they should just leave it at this ending make it ambiguous for the audiences.

The first time I saw this movie was when I was in high school 10th grade English class. For some reason my teacher played this movie for us because there was some parts in it that we talked about that was somehow related to whatever topic in English. After we watched this whole entire movie I literally fell in love with it. Whoever came up with the cast members for this movie did an outstanding job all of them actors and actresses nailed their parts like Champs. Even the star of the movie Morgan Freeman did a terrific job. Everyone in this film did a terrific job with their parts. This movie is a masterpiece for a drama film that was actually based on a true story.

@@KenDaKingArrives why handshake him at the end
@KenDaKingArrives2 жыл бұрын
@@averycarter8514 Because even though he wasn't graduating yet, he did succeed in passing to the 10th grade. Remember he was originally expelled for smoking crack and (I think) dealing drugs too. Mr. Clark took him back only because Sams begged him to and he was only a freshman too young to give up on unlike the other expelled students. But he did it on the condition of giving him a short leash: ONE mistake, one relapse, one backwards step of any kind and he would be expelled for good. But he passed, he was able to better himself, and Mr. Clark acknowledged him for that. So by overcoming his personal demons, in a way he did "graduate" metaphorically, from being for the streets so early in life to being a normal high school student trying to better himself.
