Stephanie and Brooke are reunited and Stephanie agrees to begin treatment for her cancer. As Stephanie, Brooke, and their new friend Dayzee, take off for the hospital, Stephanie's scarf blows away. Brooke exclaims, "Stephanie, your scarf!" Stephanie replies, "That's okay, someone else needs it now." As the scarf magically blows up in to the sky and back towards downtown seeking out a new person to be possibly be touch and transformered. This scene aired October 15, 2010.

People are homeless and poor for a lot of different reasons. Many can't find employment because even in a city as big as L.A., there are not enough jobs for everyone in it. Others can't work because they don't have much education. Others(like Shane McGrath) have taken risks that didn't turn out right. Many are orphans. There are many other reasons, too. So don't be so quick to judge them, especially if you've never lived in their kind of world.

Stephanie could have become another Bert Bauer From Guiding Light. Bert wasn't the nice person back when she was a young mother and wife. Bert had to always interfere in her son's marriages and drove her husband to drink. But in the later 2 decades of the show, she became the guiding light, the voice to all, the mother figure and friend to all of the cast. When she died, it took the show over a year to address it because it was such a big loss. Stephanie however went back to her evil ways, even after seeing what she saw down on skid row.
