Surprisingly these posts were in concrete but they backfilled around them with dirt and mulch.

Installed on the wrong side of the post. The instructions are right on the ez.mender.

@@keaner21 doesn’t really make a difference as the lateral force is equal on both sides. Additionally taking apart the fence to put in one of these would completely eliminate the convenience. Good eye though!
