This was one of my more anxiety-inducing adventures where the wind was so strong I nearly packed up and left. But after sticking it out, I came out the other side feeling proud of having stayed out there.
I hope you enjoy this lil adventure - please comment and subscribe to support this channel :)

EXCELLENT...now you know you can trust your kit and your own decisions. Both are so important. Think we have now binge watched all your videos and are grateful to you for taking the time and effort to make and produce your videos for those amongst the female population who may wonder whether they can do it. We go 'out' on a regular basis, either training or for pleasure and are surprised the number of times we meet people whose first question is ''are you not frightened to be out alone (just the two of you), just the three/four of you {all female} on your own''. To be absolutely honest we faced all our fears years ago and now just go for the adrenaline trips. Face and overcome your fears and they dissipate with the experience you have gained. Once again, thank you for your efforts to bring the outside wild nature to single women...you are doing a great job. Stay well, stay safe Helen and Katarin Juska-Law and Terri with Robyn (Eastern UK Fenlands)

Just subbed. Sometimes, it can be scary, but as Susan Jeffers says, " Feel the fear and do it anyway," well done for sticking it out 🎉

I've just discovered your channel and I love it, so newly subbed. I love Brecon, Wales has always been close to my heart. A beautiful country. Glad you got through this night that wind must of been fierce. You did so well so brave 💯 Thankyou for allowing me to visit Brecon from home 😀 Looking forward to catching up on your previous videos. I live on the edge of a country park not on the scale of beautiful Brecon but lovely none the less. Keep em coming and thanks loads. Be well and stay brave 💚

Appreciate the honesty about how you were feeling - it’s not all perfect sunsets and wild swims despite what you see on YT. I have the same tent so good to know it came out unscathed. Great tip on using a trekking pole as an additional support - cheers

Yay! I found another female hiking camper! 😍 hellloooo from The Peak District, BW, Sarah PPS… I’ve been camping since summer so this is my first winter out. If you watch any of my videos you will see how chatty I am and it’s usually positive because that’s the effect camping has on me. I am very choosy with when I go and if the wind in my local mountain is too strong I don’t tend to risk it but if I did my thought process would be very very similar to you! I recently bailed and went home due to the conditions, there’s. Fine line between having g courage tk continue, push through then having the intuition to bail and carry that out too. I think the latter is harder but one things for sure, the hills will always be there for the next adventure ❤I’m hoping to test myself and my tent in some less than ideal conditions soon 😊loved your video thank you! Yes last Autum,2022,was very mild and it got up to 20c in November. However 2023 has been a different kettle of fish none stop rain since the beginning of July.Luckliy I went camping in Wales in April near Roman Bridge in Snowdonia and some very nice stargazing if I tried it now I'd be rain gazing!

If your tent did go down, not a big deal, as you can just use your rucksack to take the weight of the wind off you and goto sleep.

You’ve got good quality gear, trust in it. Great video and if you camped in the first spot you wouldn’t have had as good a memory 😂. I’m your newest sub. Alb Stephan from bonnie Scotland

Fantastic video, well done, I like a bit of bad weather in the tent , you just need to build a little more confidence in your equipment and no matter the weather the camps will become easier.

This camp helped me realise how flappy the Hubba Hubba can be... But it definitely held its own and came out without a scratch 💪🏻 Thanks for tagging along!
