Being raised catholic, I never heard a lot of these hymns. When Stephen sings Christian music it moves the soul within you. Love for the Lord comes out, and there's no mistaking it. Today's Christian music is more about entertaining the person and not worshipping the Lord God Almighty. I encourage people to get back to the heart of worship and Praising God The Father as He delights in it. Get rid of the melody of whoa, whoa , whoa, and more whoas or the oh! Oh! Oh! Oh!. It only brings self edification. When we should be lifting Him King Jesus Christ up!

My brother and I used to come home from school as young kids (MANY YEARS AGO)...and our mom would be playing these great old hymns on our upright piano.
