I saw the five blind boys. I was the only white person there.🤗 I was shouting hallelujah back in 1982. I was in high school.. I also saw Revered Al Green 1986 in Minneapolis and also at the city auditorium in Colorado Springs. He got so drunk he fell off the stage. thirdly. I saw sister Shirley Caesar in Denver. I was definitely the only white person in that crowd. The microphone wouldn’t work and she started screaming.” we we got the devil in the microphone we got the devil in the microphone.” it was totally wild. The Five Blind Boys of Mississippi were a group of blind singers who performed sacred and popular songs at school fundraisers. In the 1970s and early 1980s, they recorded songs for Jewel. The original members of the group were Lawrence Abrams, Archie Brownlee, Joseph Ford, and Lloyd Woodard. Lloyd Woodard died in the mid-1970s, Lawrence Abrams died in 1982, and Henry Johnson died in 1999.

Listen when I tell you I searched high and low near and far just to find this particular version of this song and it did not disappoint me or my spirit I was in tears as I was driving my route this morning my students were getting on the bus looking at me thinking something was wrong but the Holy Ghost just was taking over and I wasn’t able to do anything about it I just love to hear music like this especially gospel music

@@johnnieadams4574 Never heard this before.. I was looking for the intro music to J Vernon McGee's Through the bible Radio show where a group of men sang Jesus paid it all, I heard it was these men.. And I found this. Yes, It's wonderful when the Spirit of Christ moves in your soul and brings you to deep thankfulness and assurance that you belong to him! Heaven is your home! Yes sometimes the tears flow and people stare..what's wrong with this guy... It's whats right!

Loyd Woodard would visit our church my dad pastored back in the ealy 1970's, and he had the same spirit like this video I'll cherish those memories. This was a blessing listened to this a few times over and over again!!! Thank you Lord January 2025!

This music was probably composed by black american and it was registered in the name of a white man called Showalter in 1887. I guess it because in that time there were a lot of injustices against black American people, and this kind of music with chorus was common between then, but of course I am not sure.
