When will it be available as native Apple M1 computers?
@OfficialKrale3 жыл бұрын
Hi Leslie, The Apple M1 is not a computer. The Apple M1 is a solid CPU (Central Processing Unit) aka a component inside a computer created by Apple which does not have any interference with the Leap Motion Controller. I hope this answered your question. ~ Official Krale

u think is possible to add an extension usb cable so un can walk around with your headset? also what type of usb this device use? i can clearly see a normal port on one side...but what about the port on the device it self? thx for the video.
@OfficialKrale3 жыл бұрын
Hi MockingOwl, It first of all depends on what headset/VR you are using. For the port it is a USB 3.0. Hopefully this helped you a lot 😇

A gimmick I bought years ago, did have fun with all the tech demos back in the day - but never used it for anything proper. I don't have a VR system, but if I do get one... I would look into the Project North Star from David Holz As well. there is a 2nd gen hardware sensor as well that performs much better, meant for embedded systems. Another use case I can see one day is input for either digital music instruments or as a 6 axis controller for doing color grading.

Ehy man, nice video and thanks for give us you opinion, may I ask you if you tried leap motion with autocad or blender or any other 3d modelling software? in your opinion could it be great to work with 3D softwares? for example i read that you can rotate things while you are modelling a scene or sculpting a character so you can have a plus in fast in your creations , but is it "confortable" to use? I mean ok for gamers or vr devs...but for 3D developers or 3D artists it is good to be used? Thank you!
@OfficialKrale3 жыл бұрын
Hi there!, So the Leap Motion is indeed used for modelling or sculpting characters. This device is definitely something to get your hands on if you are into sculpting or modeling. However, it is not as accurate as a bit more of a expensive sensor regarding it being focused on those two categories (Sculpting/Modeling). It is definitely something to try out and to see if it works for you. The device can be used for Blender, Unity, Unreal Engine and such! I hope to have informed you well enough! :)
@unevenlab22773 жыл бұрын
@@OfficialKrale thank you! is it clear that is could be a great solution indeed for modeler, organic stuff that are not o symmetric or regular in details... i don't think it could be good for hard surfaces or environmental like architectures or furnitures... maybe i'm wrong but i think that it isn't so precise as a mouse... :) btw i will see...maybe i will test it in the future..

Hi. I have the oculus quest 2 VR headset. If I connect it to pc via oculus link cable will I be able to use the Leap Motion controller? What hand tracking experiences are there for this device and where can I find them?
@OfficialKrale3 жыл бұрын
Hi there Gil, The Leap Motion controller can be used with any VR System. It connects to your computer by cable and the difference it makes is that you won’t have to use your VR controllers. An example is that the controllers from the Oculus Rift Quest or S limits you to your hand gestures where the Leap Motion makes it possible to use all your fingers like the Valve Index. Let me know if you need some more information.
