Ms Moose with Bionic eyes was able to see thru darkness, gloom and fog the stealth arrival of the one and only Tote Man - she with a lightning strike pounced on the man’s totes like a Leaping Lizard. As always Ms Moose provided great entertainment thru Tote Diving.

Leaping Lizards! My stomach falls 20 feet when you stick your hands deep into a tote of broken glassware. Growing up my favorite memories were my brothers and I sprawled across my parents bed while my daddy read aloud the Sunday morning comics. He always saved Little Orphan Annie for last. As he read he would point to us to indicate time for us to scream Leaping Lizards!

Leapin' Lizards??? When I go to the rare sales here and find a gem...I exclaim..."Leapin' (I'll let you fill in the blank)"!! I tip my hat to the folks with the fortitude to lay out all that stuff, as well as price it! Mold has to live too! The equestrian woman looks like Dale Evans...Roy Rodger's mate. I remember a woman, friend of my mom's who had a large collection of Precious Moment Figurines. Your Scottie Dog would go with two vintage radios I have...the Scottie was the trade mark of the Remler Radio Corporation. These radios were manufactured here in San Francisco, from the 1920s-40s. The later bakelite cabinets had the Scottie dog featured above the slide rule dial. Like our foggy days!

Always buy old ring or other jewelry boxes. They sell well online, especially ring boxes. People buy them to present engagement rings or to store vintage and or antique pieces. The velvet, faux leather or celluloid ones sell the highest.

Leapin' Lizards!!...I was screaming at the screen Renee....Sheets the beanie baby ghost looked like he had the rare tag and it had a tag protector on it....$1,000 plus depending on condition. He looked good. The other ghost I think was Spooky who also has tag errors. I couldn't see his tag well enough and he was same pricing. Also, the mouse you picked up in the beginning was that Topo Gigio??? You might be too young to know about him. I need to come see the tote man. LOL

Leapin' Lizards, that Toteman causes a feeding frenzy when his truck shows up! It is always so nice of you to help him unload his truck before starting to look through the totes. I am goad that you found some goodies on your search through all those totes. I am no jewelry expert by far, but those clips that you found may be scarf clips and not clips for your shoes which may explain why there was only one of each in the bag. Thanks for sharing your latest flea market experience!

Great show. It was a good, but also a quite foggy flea market morning, which is not always good for paper items. 😊Some neat finds from the Tote Man´s inventory, a little bit of everything. I like especially the little book with a whole bunch of membership cards. No Tote Man at our flea markets, but we got a lot of expensive vendors instead. 🧐 And, as I said before, we got some slight issues with the comment section on this platform. Comments suddenly disappear or can only be seen if you click the button "new comments first". A little bit annoying, isn´t it ?! 😮 Have a great rest of this week, Renée, and see you on the next one ! 🤞Greets from GER, U. P.S. By the way, Renée: when are you going to start your vacation trip to Wyoming ?! Just curious. 😁
@PaperandMooseАй бұрын
I have the ability to "sort" comments or search them, but it doesn't let you search by usernames. I could put in a specific word to look up, and it may or may not show it. Technology! I may have asked you this before, but at your markets is there a mixture between new & old items? I vaguely remember the one market I went to when I was in Munich. Took the U-Bahn to an outdoor flea market and recall many different stalls, with rows and rows of tables under "ceilings" of linens. I was just excited that I managed to figure out where to get on/off by myself, so the actual flea market part is a blur. Headed to Wyoming shortly! Apologies in advance for slow responses to comments. I enjoy having little to no cell service when out in Yellowstone :0)

@@PaperandMoose No apologies necessary, Renée, you are the "Master of Disaster" of this channel, and you also got a well deserved private life ! 😉Our flea markets are very different; some just offer cheap new stuff, others got a mixture of old and new. And a few prohibit to sell new items as well. But there´s a huge tendency that dealers of neat vintage or antique stuff go over to antique markets or sell directly online. Enjoy your fresh air vacation at Cody and Yellowstone, I´m absolutely sure you will ! 🐻🐿🦔

So I didn't look - was the American Girl "Pleasant Company" or Mattel? We stopped in NYC one time on the way to my folks to take our 3 girls to the American Girl store there. Also, "Josefina" needed some attention as her hair had been brushed too vigorously and she had male pattern baldness. The noisemaker is great - though I'm glad we didn't have anything like it when the kids were small. I thought that poster was National Velvet - so I'm glad someone else said Dale Evans first. That would have been embarrassing :). Speaking of (Roy) Rogers - there was a Roger Miller album in that crate. I worked with a guy named Roger Miller once and asked him how often he got "King of the Road" jokes anymore. Not often, because not too many know the song anymore. He did say he was working in his garage one day, listening to an oldies station on the radio. The DJ interrupted a song to say that he had some sad news - that Roger Miller had passed away (1992). My colleague said the first thought that went through his mind was, "So this is I find out I've died? On the radio?" He swears it's a true story. Thanks for the video. Safe travels, and have a great Monday. PS I sold that beach cruiser bike this weekend. Just like finding $60 on the sidewalk!
@PaperandMooseАй бұрын
I didn't notice on the box, but I'm assuming it's Mattel because it is "newer". I didn't have the American Girl Dolls growing up, but I remember borrowing all of the books from the library and reading them. I visited the library of my elementary school a few years ago for an event and when I looked at one of the books I remembered always checking out, sure enough the card in the back had my little 4th grade signature on it! It was always fun to see who had checked out books before you. "King of the Road"... I know the song but wouldn't have been able to tell you who sang it, so you are ahead of the game there! A quick flip on the beach cruiser, those are the best! Hope that you have a great week!
