I'm stuck learning kanji, especially trying to remembering onyomi, its hell easy if we all talking about just Kunyomi word, Onyomi is really nightmare for me, tried learning bushu still doesn't help me, I'm burn out.
@hatsushikun27224 ай бұрын
I know it's hard but believe me the best advice I can give is to not learning kanji readings at all and just learnjng the words itself. So as an example you might not know all the reading of "女". And even if you do, if you don't know which one to use when, it's meaningless. Instead, you can just learn what does "女性", "女神" and "女心" mean and you will have an easier time like that. not only you will learn these words you will also learn how to read them in those specific words, instead of memorizing multiple possible readings and taking a guess. (im sorry if my english is not good enough it's not my native language.)
@bradleygodinez91644 ай бұрын
I used to feel the same, but it's better not memorizing the reading but only meaning, at the moment you read you will get more knowledge about how kanji's are read im context. ❤ Greetings from Greece.

But no, the JLPT test is written fully in the Japanese language, but let's say, you take the test of JLPT N3, and there was a word from JLPT 2 in the passage, it won't he written in kanji, but in hiragana, and you would probably know the world. Q - about 98, ive looked and the translation comes up as "former" and "ex", i just wanted to check with you about that one. thank you
@Hamusuke-japanese11 ай бұрын
The Japanese kanji character "元" (pronounced "gen" or "moto") has multiple meanings and usages, making it a versatile character in the language. Here's a breakdown of its primary interpretations and applications: Origin or Beginning: "元" is often used to indicate the beginning or origin of something. For example, "元日" (gantan) means New Year's Day, marking the beginning of the year. Former or Previous: When referring to a person's previous state or position, "元" can mean "former" or "ex-". For instance, "元彼" (moto-kare) means "ex-boyfriend", and "元社長" (moto-shachou) means "former president (of a company)". Thank you!😄
