@@Stoa-comdor Well I'm not an expert in language learning but I would say what Steve says: constant input is important. Just watch content that you like and don't worry if you don't understand everything, as long as you're getting input. I myself can understand a good amount of English but still might struggle with some strong accents so don't worry about that, you can learn just with one accent first, then try to understand other accents. Also if the video is just talking and talking and talking it's normal to lose concentration and understand nothing at some parts of the video (but still this takes us back to "listen to what you like"). P.S. English is not my first language but I got exposed to it since I was young so I think that's a big part of my journey of learning English

Goal for this year is to hit 15k know words in greek. Was really encouraging this year to start understanding videos without looking at the subtitles I wish everyone well in their own respective languages. Well from this video I took some really good information how to build myself plans for the next year and that's really good for me because I still remember how I created some plans for 2024 and I achieved only 50% of these goals but in the next 2025 year I gonna achieve more than early and finally get more strong in languages and together with this improve my current languages. Most World Chess Champions are at their best between the years 22 to 35 let's say. Even thou we have the youngest World Champion at around 19 I think. But I think this is the Math Part of the Brain. I'm pretty good at chess and I can memorize like15 moves of more of Ruy Lopez (Chess Opening) if I wanted to. Not a big deal. But at my age 66 trying to learn Spanish and Korean. I find way harder!!!! Language learning is the more artistic side of the brain I think. Math vs Art.

No, it's not necessary. People from different areas (or even different families) speak at different speeds. Hopefully you can understand the faster speakers, but you can always ask them to slow down. Native speakers sometimes have difficulty understanding fast-talkers, so don't worry if you have trouble as well.

It’s my pleasure to discuss this topic with you! If you’d like, we could even create a video where I explain it in more detail. Kurdish (specifically Kurmanji) and Farsi are distinct languages with unique linguistic and cultural identities. They share some historical connections, but their vocabulary, grammar, syntax, and alphabets are quite different. For instance, Kurmanji uses the Latin alphabet with 31 letters and (sorani 33 letters ), while Farsi uses the Perso-Arabic script with 32 letters. Culturally, the Kurdish-speaking community, especially those using Kurmanji, has its own traditions, music, and oral literature, distinct from Persian culture. Additionally, Kurmanji has a different structure compared to Farsi-for example, verbs are placed at the end of sentences in Kurmanji, while Farsi follows a different word order. These linguistic and cultural differences clearly show that Kurdish and Farsi are as distinct as, for example, Spanish and German, even though they share the same broader language family.
