The thing is, my Dad was born in Liberia, raised in Ivory coast half his childhood, raised in FRANCE half his childhood, THEN moved to America. He is multilingual, and speaks french fluently. But his English isn't as fluent as well as he speaks his other two languages. My Mom on the other hand is from Freetown, Sierra Leone and speaks Krio fluently. She speaks English very well. I only speak two languages, Krio, and English. Somehow, my Dad is able to understand Krio, but my Mom can't speak HIS native languages...
