Sometimes I get in my own way and stumble. I know His hand is there, catching me, helping me gain my balance again. I can feel Him . I continue forward striving to live the plan He has for me. Words can not express the gratitude I have for belonging to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the knowledge I have gained thru it's teachings.

I joined the Church at the age of 19, back in 1995, and it was the best decision I have ever made. My children have grown up knowing the truth of the Gospel. This is something for which I will forever be grateful.🙏😌

"We can stop dwelling on the things we've done, and feel excited about who we can become". That's very difficult when you're in the middle of trying to recover from terrible mistakes. Dwelling on your past, not forgiving yourself, and not feeling like you're worthy to be loved. I know none of those thoughts/feelings come from Heavenly Father but it's still very hard to deal with.

I totally agree. I feel like sometimes I know that God has forgiven me, or has the power to heal and redeem me, but I don't feel worthy of His grace, I don't feel like I can or should accept it. I love this scripture from 2 Nephi 2:4, "And the way is prepared from the fall of man, and salvation is free." We are not worthy of God's love, and that is just part of being human. But we are WORTH it to Him. I pray that you feel His love for you today, and for you to know that although you are not worthy of His love, you are worth it to Him!

AMEN to this- and thank you for sharing that scripture along with your insights & encouragement. True. True True. He paid the price for ALL of us, and EACH of us-so we DON’T have to! Keep turning to Him, our blessed Brother and Redeemer. Especially when you’re down. Give it ALL to Him, and let Him lift you up. Overcoming sin is tough-and mostly, we’re toughest on ourselves. Seek joy in His words in the Scriptures and uplifting friends (& even apps), and you’ll triumph. Because with God, nothing is impossible. 😇
