Other toothpaste options are Revitin or Theodent. Why should we be concerned about mercury fillings? Dr. Salartash recommends having them safely removed to reduce the toxic load in the body, especially if the patient has health concerns or auto-immune disease. There are special procedures needed to remove mercury fillings to avoid breathing or ingesting mercury.
