SeaWorld is the gold standard for whale and dolphin care. It is by no surprise that SeaWorld would be involved in science, research and conservation of endangered killer whale populations.

I am not sure I thought SeaWorld was the subject of protests.

"more conservation efforts to protect these animals than anywhere else in the world'.. - Just to be clear, she meant the conservation of captive orcas, right?

No, all of them, especially in the wild.

In that case, I would like to know where I can find the evidence for this. Can you provide some examples over the last 50 years of the conservation of wild orcas by SeaWorld? And also how these efforts have been greater than any other orca conservation organisation?

Hope SeaWorld and NOAA will save the southern resident orcas from extinction and to say those foolish activists want Lolita in a seapen at Salish sea is the answer seeing those orcas are in danger that put Lolita in the same position which she ain't leaving Miami Seaquarium, those orcas need help more than Lolita does. At least SeaWorld NOAA lummi nations are joining forde as to the orca network people think they should join them in Force too

Seaworld orcas are fine. I wish Lolita can go 3 hours up the rode & join the Orlando pod

@@lbabytutorials4852 yeah your right. Lolita may need a new home and Sea World would be the answer as to Sea World San Diego has probable relatives Kalia and Keet that are half Southern Resident Orcas and half Icelandic. As Sea World Orlando be closer though with Corky and Shouka and Orkid be a better option. Though Sea World Orlando be good too.

@@chrismore5956 yes that’s true I believe orkid’s dad Orky 2 was a 14,000 lb resident killer whale male. Making orkid half Icelandic half resident. The reason why shouka & kalia & sometimes Orkid are mean to corky Is because she is a pacific orca, resident whales in British Columbia are sweet, Salomon eating orcas. There endangered. There also the biggest of the orcas. Males can grow to 18,000 lbs Iceland males max out at 10 to 12,000 lbs. As you know size means nothing when it comes to orcas. Corky is 8,200 lbs is from A pod. (Endangered) Lolita is 7,500 lbs, from L pod the same pod Winston was from Kalina’s dad. Id be worried that all of Orlando’s killer whales would be mean to Lolita, however it’s worth a shot. Or maybe she could live out her days with Corky who is a beginner whale for trainers & for the past 5 decades if a new whale came in Corky would be the first whale they’d meet because she is so submissive. I was hopeful for kiska, last month was I saw she was permanently moved to the Med pool o had a bad feeling. There is a seaside sanctuary set up in British Columbia. Kiska was welcome, yet marineland said no. No wonder Seaworld took Ike back, there are no shows for enrichment. A few scratches on her back & feeding sessions with trainers would get old fast. At Seaworld they have 7 pools, toys, sprayers, training sessions, no day is the same to keep there orcas happy. I wish I could post the pictures I have of Kshamenk hes lost so much weight he could pass as a starving 6 year old juvenile male with severe peanut head.

@@lbabytutorials4852 I would agree as Corky may be a compatible mate for Lolita as it has been a year Miami Seaquarium had done a whale show. Though it wouldn’t hurt for Lolita to be moved to Sea World Orlando as it be closer. As for Kshamenk it be awesome for him to move to Loro Parque to be with the other orcas Morgan, Keto, Tekoa and Adan as that be a good option for him seeing he’s young. As Kiska passed away two days ago from bacteria infection so she is at peace with all orcas she known. But for the animals at Marineland Ontario and the future of the park as the owner is on the market for a new owner. As for the future of it the new owner may continue the park Marineland as amusement park food, rides and attractions without animals. As for the animals as Canada has a law no cetaceans in captivity as hopefully the dolphins and belugas could be moved to Sea World parks and the land animals to Toronto Zoo or Busch Gardens. The Vancouver Aquarium could import the rest of the marine animals from Marineland as that would make sense.
