Where I come from, we call sharks "morski pas" which directly translates to "water dog" Now it totally makes sense 😁

Rubbing a fishes belly can send it into a trance. A common fishing method used in the 1800s called trout tickling where the fishermen would keep their hand in the water waiting for a fish to swimming into it and slowly tickling its belly sends it into a relaxed state allowing the fishermen to quickly snatch the fish out of the water to eat

I’m undecided on the issue of cetacean captivity (I am a supporter of most zoos and aquariums though because I know they do a lot of good) but this video is absolutely not helping the pro-cap side of the argument. I’ve seen the original video this clip comes from (it is the oldest video on Dr. Visser’s KZbin channel, if you’re interested) and the interaction was much shorter, this video looped it to make it look longer. This video also uses corny music to drown out the sound of her saying hi to the animal, not teasing it or yelling at it. The boat’s motor appeared to be off as the boat was stationary, so there wasn’t any risk of the orca getting hurt by it, and the orca swam up to the boat of its own accord (although she did encourage it). The Marine Mammal Protection Act wouldn’t punish you for such a short, mutually peaceful, and respectful interaction. Orcas are naturally very inquisitive and intelligent beings, so it’s not a stretch to say that the orca was probably wondering about what this unexpected human in its environment was doing and wanted to take a better look out of curiosity rather than feeling harassed or threatened. Plus, she wasn’t making her research invalid, as your accompanying article on your website claimed, because she wasn’t using this interaction for research, she was just on a boat observing the orcas as usual. If you want to counter Dr. Visser’s opinions on orcas in captivity, use actual scientific evidence to make your claim, not edited slander. (to be fair, there is a lot of pseudoscience on the anti-cap side as well, the whole debate is very corrupted, but Dr. Visser seems to be a widely respected expert on New Zealand’s wild killer whales)

So you are degrading and trying to spread false information about a dedicated scientist who is fighting for a good cause, while you support the greedy Seaworld that doesn't give a shit about the whales except what money they can produce for them. You are absolutely disgusting and embarrassing! Get the hell out of here! People like you make me sick.

Nice try Sea World!!! First of all she is DR INGRID VISSER and you have to show her the respect that she earned. What kind of "expert's" are your trainers or their mamagement?? Are they Doctor's of animaltraining?? I cannot see ANY hypocropsy from Dr Visser, but I see YOUR smierkampane's against her, Dr Naomi Rose and your once supervusor trainrr John H. It is disgustig what you are trying to do, running to the goverment and sniching like children. VIDEOS DONT LIE AND WE HAVE SEEN ENOUGH OF YOUR ANIMAL ABUSE!! Your smierkqmpain against Blackfish is even funny!! You don't have ANY FACTS, just stupid stories about pregnanf women who habe been trainer. Really nice try!! I wouls stop this moc!ing and false accusation's immedeatly, you never know what we "hysterical anti captivity people" might do!! YOU are describing us as such!! YOU and this shitwhole of Loro Parque. All you "expert's" can do is killing orva's with 10 year's or long before their natura! lifespan!! And your "reasearch and rescue"- do you think we are SO stupid?? You keep most of the animals you "rescued", Dr Visser rescues them without taking them in a SW faci!ity, I wonder why!!?? Dr Visser is the only one who is swimming and diving with orca's in their natural habitat since 25 year's min, so she know's what she is doing. SHE DOES NOT HARASS the orca's, YOU are doing this, you are only a bunch of poor criminal business men jelous of what Dr Visser can do. And: are you paying spie's and are sending them to her?? What is the difference between SW + "the industry" and the mob??? DISGUSTING!!! AND YOU CANNOT AND WILL NOT STOP US YOU ANIMAL ABUSERS!!!

Stop the racist attacks against Japan! The Japanese people, who do not live in a country with huge swaths of plains to grow crops and graze cattle and sheep but rather a country the size of California, but whose population is 1/3rd of that of the USA, ...need to eat! They get a far greater proportion of their food from the sea than the smug Americans, Canadians, Australians, most Europeans, etc.. They apparently believe that dolphins (and other similar marine mammals such as pseudo-orcas) compete for the limited supply of fish in these waters; and so, these slaughters are conducted regularly to cull the numbers of dolphins. These slaughters are no more pretty than the slaughters of cattle, pigs, chickens, etc. that we eat. The Japanese (and also Koreans and Chinese) have been conducting these slaughters for THOUSANDS of years! These actions are done for the BENEFIT OF HUMANS. The most basic law of life is that living things must take life in order to live. This is true of every species of living thing. Man is not exempt. American and British farmers regularly kill a great many coyotes and foxes every year to protect their livestock (which are destined to be slaughtered themselves for our dinner plates). Leave the Japanese alone! Leave the Sri Lankans alone! (The attempt to ban synthetic fertilizers in THAT country by its leaders who wanted to impress the leftist nutjobs of the West.) ....Let humanity live! Pay attention to the Dutch farmers and their warnings about what the Greenies are doing in the First World. Stop the Green War against humanity!
