There’s so much to explore in the farm! Your child will:
Learn the names and pronunciation of the following insects:
Ladybug دعسوقة (du’sooqa)
Ant نملة (namla)
Spider عنكبوت (‘ankaboot)
Bee نحلة (nahla)
Caterpillar يرقة (yaraqa)
Butterfly فراشة (faraasha)
Fly with a bee نحلة as it drinks nectar and transforms it into honey and learn the ayah in which Allah talks about the bee and honey (Surah 16 aya 69)
يَخْرُجُ مِنۢ بُطُونِهَا شَرَابٌۭ مُّخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَٰنُهُۥ فِيهِ شِفَآءٌۭ لِّلنَّاسِ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةًۭ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
From their bellies comes forth liquid of varying colours, in which there is healing for people. Surely in this is a sign for those who reflect.
How we value all life (even that of an insect) and should strive to help the vulnerable
The act of never giving up while singing along to the itsy bitsy spider عنكبوت صغير (‘ankabootun sagheerun) in Arabic:
(‘ankabootun sagheerun sa’idal ‘amood) عنكبوت صغير صعد العمود
(hatalal mataru wa dafa’hu taht) هطل المطر ودفعه تحت
(ashraqat ashamsu wa jafafat al ardu) اشرقت الشمس وجففت الارض
(wa ‘adal ‘ankaboot wa sai’adal ‘amood) وعاود المحاولة و صعدة العمود
Jump with a rabbit and learn directions in Arabic (right, left, front, back)
How a caterpillar turns into a butterfly: caterpillar يرقة (yaraqa) → cocoon شرنقة (sharnaqa) → butterfly فراشة (farasha)
And how a seed بذرة (bathra) becomes a plant نبتة (nabta) to give us a watermelon بطيخة (bitteekha)
