What is your opinion on when online Algebra 2 teachers request printed worksheets or work on paper to be done . Take a picture of the work upload it to the classroom even requesting showing the work on paper from online quizzes even ones like quizizz ?
@derekbanas4 жыл бұрын
I have children that are currently attending zoom classes in elementary and middle school. The teachers are doing their best, but everyone knows that everyone is being hurt by online zooming learning. It doesn't work. Teachers I have spoken to say that they have seen a 12x increase in the number of kids failing!!! We have to get our kids back into school and our young adults back into regular college.
@tracek84184 жыл бұрын
@@derekbanas It's not the online zooming problems for us as we opted for remote classes this year and most every class is great because you read and answer questions online. Math during school closure was awesome thru khan academy modules and the unit test on there and it helped my son pass his math class as was sick a lot last year no need for paperwork all online wish it was this way for math this year instead its take picture of math assignments and upload it to classroom.
@derekbanas4 жыл бұрын
I hear you. I agree it was better last year for my kids as well. I was basically asked to home school and then the kids were tested to make sure they were learning. I got my kids fun kits, we watched Kahn academy and other videos. Now they watch zoom calls were they can't interact. 2 days a week they go into school but the kids can't be near each other and neither can the teachers. My school is basically like a prison. I look forward to the time when kids can smile at each other again.

I usually talk about exponents as repeated multiplication so you have a y times y^2 (which is just y times itself twice) so that's the same as y times itself three times.
