Hey teacher Wes! I know I'm pretty late, but I'll leave my comments and my exemples. Just thanking you for this great lesson. 1 - I usually study English everyday, and by the way, I love broccoli. Hahaha... 2 - Yesterday I run some errands and also did some chores at home. 3 - I have visited Orlando and its neighborhoods twice, but I've already been to many cool places in Brazil as well. Have you ever been to Brazil? 4 - Tomorrow I'll eat fish, at a fancy restaurant. 5 - I'm standing in front of a grocery store right now, waiting for my cousin. 6 - Yesterday at 6 p.m. I was preparing dinner. 7 - By the end of 2022, I'll be traveling to Europe. 8 - Recently, I have been spending my free time practicing English. 9 - Before I left my house this morning, I had eaten some fried eggs and papaya. 10 - When I knew your great channel, I had already been studying English with other teachers. 11 - Before this weekend is over, I'll have had a meeting with my aunt. 12 - By the end of next year, I will have been living in the apartment for 7 years. ❤

I really like your example with the present perfect and the present perfect progressive. I think I just caught the subtle nuance between those two verb tenses. I’ve studied a lot my verb tenses and until this example I wasn’t sure about which one to use and why. Thanks a lot. For me to master my verb tenses has been a breakthrough in my learning. It's given me the confidence I needed at this time to start to speak and write more often. Keep it up Wes, I appreciate your good work ! Steve

I just closed my eyes and listened to this video from start to finish. I learned not only tenses but American accent also. It will be useful for those who haven’t been familiar with the accent. So, I’m gonna invite my friends to subscribe and hit the bell button. They will be speaking more fluently with the tenses by the end of the year. A number of people in my country, Thailand, were struggling with forming a sentence despite the hard fact that they had been studying for several years. Unfortunately, their skills had remained unchanged. Anyway, students who have been working hard will have achieved their goals in so far as there is the light at the end of the tunnel. How long will they have been taking time to understand native speakers almost all the words they say? I suppose these covered all stuff you kindly taught. Thank you so much.

Humm, there is one example which makes me confused. In the past progressive, "Last week, we were visiting Slovenia". In my opinion, you should put some specific time in it, like "On this day last week, we were visiting Slovenia" So if you say "Last week" I think it should be "we visited Slovenia"

Hello, Wes! Thank you for such a great lessons(especially your funny pictures)! You know, I've been studying all those 12 verb tenses( because it's need to be repeat it constantly)But since I've been married to american guy, I noticed that American simplified some verb tenses and isntead of Present Perf and Past perf progessivw they use just Past Simple and I like it! But it's not good for students! And I'm wondering , why did you chose Slovenia for you last vacation?

Thank you teacher for your effort, please tell me what a specific time comes after by the end of the week :is it the future progressive as you said in this lesson? or future perfect as usual. And thanks.

very useful/valuable to the entire world. impressive in your methods of teaching and your characteristics - cheerful always smile. Don't forget American English is the most powerful language in the world but very difficult to people that English not native language, normal speaking, listening, grammar - hard, let alone slangs, idioms. It's greek to Indochinese. I'm from the north-east of Thailand close to Laos. Lao languge is the native language of them far different from Bangkokian Language which is central or official language of the country.
