This is superb, I play guitar for 4 decades not knowing this staff until I bought an electric guitar, not knowing how to play the staff and that is why I'm here. A very big help.

The positions are named based on what scale degree they're starting on. I've been watching. Video after video trying to understand this whole position thing. After watching your video about three times in a row I got it.

Ry, sorry to be so blunt ... the Pentatonic scales are indeed overwhelming to me enough as it is, but the background "music" is very distracting to your voice and what you are saying.

It’s not actually background music per se. It’s a simple progression played in the key he’s currently referring to so the pentatonic scale positions he’s speaking of can be heard in practice. Notice how the key changes when the topic is changed to the A minor scale. The scale runs correspond with the notes that the visual aid is demonstrating on screen.
