There usually is a two-sided checkbox. That depends on the printer you connected, if the printer supports it, and if the driver that connects the printer to the computer is setup.

Wow! Thanks for this awesome intro to Pages. I have to write a book and was searching high and low as to which software I should start writing it with since I'm going to be quite busy with it for a while. From what you've shown me here I believe this just might be my best option. And trust me, I really don't like shopping and searching for things, especially software. But after watching this video I think I've made my decision. It's an especially easy one considering that Pages is already loaded on my new Macbook. Super excited now!

I am struggling to do reports that require standard numbering, 1. 1.1. 1.1.a. 1.1.a[i] and so on with indents and auto tabbing just like old word processing/typing layouts for legal documents. It seems beyond complicated in Paged. What am I missing.

Thank you for this tutorial. I too am trying to refrain from buying Microsoft and have probably a very stupid question, yet I prefer asking stupid questions, than remain stuck in frustration mode. (1) My pages documents won't autosave and I continuously get the message that It has not been saved. When I do save a document and reopen it to, pages tells me it's damaged and all my work will be lost. I can't even begin to tell you how many days of work I've lost because of it. I presume it's simple ticking or unticking of boxes. I beg you, please help me! (2) Also, my pages does not have all the options you have in your sidebar. (3) When using a corporate template as background, how do you set pages to add the page 1 template to a multiple page of the same document? Please and thank you in advance.

You have a nice style and manner. I am not old, and I am highly educated; I paid people to do these things for me. Now, I want to learn. I don't know what the hell you are doing. Disagree. iCloud organizing documents by application is just wrong. When I’m working on a project or initiative I create documents in all kinds of formats and I need to keep them all together. I don’t want to look in a keynote folder for some, a numbers folder for some and pages folder for some, images somewhere else, etc. I find you’re jumping all over the place. Your presentation comes across as a rant instead of teaching anything.
@APPLE1TO13 жыл бұрын
If you look below, a lot of people enjoyed this content. Also, you are not forced to use the pages folder. You can store it anywhere in files you want. So where did I jump around? Apple trained me for years and these are the basics for users based on the material I was presented. I never rant on Apple. I worked there for 11 years and provided me with the skills to succeed in my life and work. Sounds like Pages and Apple just may not be for your skill level.
@josephcollins60334 жыл бұрын
Ok, I watched again or tried to. You say look at this, it knows what to do, does it for you, you are flying around and clicking and things are highlighted but you say it does it automatically. You do not explain ANYTHING. One would have had to already work with other systems to get this. Listen to this video. It would be like me teaching French to someone who had never studied ANY language and saying OK, all you have to do to conjugate is put the past participle with the helping word, for example take FAIRE, just do the first conjugation and then take the past participle and put it next to the form, then go do the other like that. WTF?!! Teach me please!!!

We will be making more videos in the future. We have positive feedback on our training. And pages does do things automatically. Stay tune for more content.
