I am in college for social work. There is a woman who just moved to America from Yemen and speaks very little English. Guidence at our college is abysmal and she's been thrown into classes she can't understand. I'm trying to learn the basics so I can help her succeed better, or at least find the path that works for her. Thank you for these outstanding lessons. I want all of you to understand that Arabic gets the "difficult" title because of the lack of Latin and Germanic influence to it....so if you are a native English speaker or unfamiliar with Semitic languages, heck yeah its going to be hard. But unlike other languages such as English, Arabic has remained consistent and it is very straightforward. Do not be intimidated! it is a beautiful, fun language. I left a comment back in May or June saying I will be purchasing his book. Well here I am with all of my notebooks, practice workbooks, and a copy of his book. My journey became official on the 6th of this month, and I am serious about learning Arabic. May Allah continue to bless Dr. Imran, he is one of the top people I follow for Arabic studies.

It is exactly two years ago when I started my journey of learning Arabic. And it is this very video I was starting with, along with others in this series. So I'm just here to celebrate my anniversary. Since then I've read 3 books. I'm on my 4th as we speak. Dr Imran is just excellent at his teaching skills. They gave me a super quick crash course on basic nouns and verbs that I could learn in the classroom. I will follow along with your lessons and see how much I can learn to surprise them. Hello Sir. What a wonderful teacher you are. Than you so much. I'm from Italy and an absolute beginner. I'm still learning English on my own. The same of some basic of Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese. He also lectured in Nigeria, Kenya, Gambia and Saudi Arabia as well as at Home- Sudan. Mat his soul rest in peace. My sister and one of my aunts took after him.

Good luck. You are learning classical Arabic, the language of the Qur’an, poetry, art and culture. As for dialects, there are more than 22 Arab countries and more than 50 dialects. The two easiest dialects you can learn and all Arabs will understand you after classical Arabic, which is the Egyptian and Saudi dialects.
