I found here recently plucking with my thumb like Sting seems to fit my style in a comfortable way. I have better control over rumbling strings etc. Problems with my cervical spine forces me to play this way. Thanks Richie

Cool vid. I watched all my legends technique on DVDs! And I ended up having my own style combining a 3finger plucking technique thanks to John myung of dream theater. And also used alot of up and down strumming of Les claypool. I'm not a good bassist by standards but always chuffed inside that I can use the 3 fingers comfortably and am often asked about it when I play!
