The more primitive the better honestly. When things get so overly technical that they sound like computer bleeps it borderlines parody, it sounds as corny as it is soulless.

I try to explain this to my best friend who ironically is really good at playing really old school acoustic country music. I try explaining its really not that much different other than the speed and attitude...I learn allot from him but he says what I play is fucking impossible 🤣🤘
@blunderless
@blunderless 8 ай бұрын
A lot of acoustic players for some reason can't do power or barre chords, yet the open chords they play often require more than two fingers. I don't get it. Besides isn't tremolo picking one of the first thing beginners do bc they wanna see how fast they are. Ik i thought i was a g for tremolo picking the 8th fret of the A string the second i picked up the guitar. Probably just intimidated by distortion...

Dev did you ever have wrist pain playing power chords with first and third finger. I find it much more comfortable with first and pinky but obviously can't then make any dissonant chords. This short sounds great by the way

I've been struggling with tendonitis for decades. Shorter scale guitars (25" or less- like 24.75" Les Paul scale) help a lot (less stretching for chords), and playing as lightly and relaxed as possible, especially with the fretting hand. Pain is something to avoid, because too much pain/soreness means tendonitis is very possibly on the way.
