Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadows. Extend your knowledge beyond your comfort zone and you see various sunshine pouring in. I’ve made many videos teaching Chinese in a humorous way. About 3000 Chinese characters cover 99% characters in newspapers and books. From my previous videos you can learn more than 400 common characters. There are about 120 commonly used Chinese character radicals. From my previous videos, you can learn more than 80 basic radicals. I’ve spent about 100,000 hours studying English humor and Western culture, and many years studying Chinese culture and jokes. My native language is Chinese.

@ChineseForUsOfficial7 ай бұрын
Tones are really important for Chinese people to understand you, although you don't have to be 100% accurate, you can get away with being 80ish percent accurate and they will still understand you.

Sorr to bother you, but, you taught us in the previous lesson to introduce ourselves using 姓 (xìng) or 叫 (jiào). So, I am wondering why you introduce yourself here using 是 (shì) as you said 我是力力 (wǒ shì lì lì) in the beginning of this video. Is that because we already know who you are? Or is 是 (shì) also okay to use if you have never met somebody? Thank you for your reply.

I just want to ask. You introduce yourself by saying: wo shi Li li. Is it also the same as using the Wo xing and Wo jiao..which one is the basic to use when you introduce yourself? Wo shi, Wo xing or Wo jiao? Thanks teacher 😊 I'm a beginner, I just found your channel 🥰❣️ I love it
@koko.997 Жыл бұрын
In their first lesson it talks about it. Wo Xing is used to introduce your last name, then your first name (Hers for example: Wo Xing Hao Li. Li is her first name, Hao is her last name). Wo jiao is used to introduce only your first name, but jiao cannot be used to introduce the first name with only 1 syllable, it has to be 2 or more, thats why her nick name is Li li, "Wo Jiao Li Li"

Why does d first letter of /xìng/ look like the first letter of /hão/ ?!!! 🤔🤔🤔 I want to learn how to write Chinese letters bt it seems a bit difficult 🤦♀️
@voqsonofnone7895 жыл бұрын
Exactly! it's pronounced "nǚ", meaning "woman/female". The ancient matriarchal last names came from mother's, so Xìng makes sense. Also, Hǎo= a woman holding a child, they look happy. So this one means "good".
