Welcome to this new Chinese idiom animation lesson from China Highlights! This animated idiom lesson is the first of a new series of animations about Chinese idioms. Together we will learn popular and most common Chinese idioms and proverbs in a fun way. Today's video is about Chinese chengyu, shou zhu dai tu (守株待兔), means to guard a tree-stump and wait for the rabbit. It is used to describe a lazy opportunist who does not want to put in any effort, but instead sits around, waiting idly for good things to happen. Easy learning Chinese in 3 minutes animation.
