Hey Belinda! I have been watching your videos a lot. My wife and I are very interested in learning from you to create her own brand. We are in China and would like to see more about the regulations here. Could you add the link to the different countries regulations in the description? It would be very good for people whom are looking for this information. Thank you!

I commented on this while watching the video, so I see what you said about it later on.

Thank you for this video. Do these same regulations apply to hobbyist skin care makers who produce creams, lotions, soaps quite often in their kitchens, and sell at markets or online? These products for the majority would not undergo any testing, either microbial or stability.

Yes, the regulations also apply to a hobbyist seller. As soon as you sell the product you are responsible for the safety and regulatory compliance of that product.

Formulate Beauty thank you. I very much doubt most hobbyists would know about compliance issues.

Yes, any product that you are selling to another person, even if family or at market stalls, needs to comply with local regulations.

Hi Belinda! If i pass the cosmetic chemist course, will i be certified to preform compliance, microbial, and stability testing myself if i buy the proper equipment and show the data? Thank you. ❤

Hi there You will need to complete the Diploma as this has a full unit on compliance and also micro & stability. The certificate only covers stability & micro and briefly on compliance. There will be some things that you need to outsource but you will learn all this in the course :)
