Niels, please leave all your videos up! They are still helpful to current and future learners of Dutch! I was struggling with this construction. You helped SO much by providing not only examples but the breakdown of each part of the sentences using this verb. I made diagrams based on your descriptions. I only started with this yesterday ( Feb 18, 2021). I feel confident to answer your question in Dutch: Je kan vers fruit eten om je gezond te blijven. I am almost through my A1 level.

It's fascinating that in the first part, the verb is in the middle (subject verb object), but when om-te comes into play, the verb now shifts to the end

This is a great video. It really makes it clear to understand. Perhaps next time, make the background audio a bit softer as it's a bit distracting. It would also be good to see an explanation around the use of "zich".

After having studied French, I was told that Dutch, the first language that I've attempted to learn by myself, would be easy. I've found that while the sentence structure is often much closer to English than what I'm used to with foreign languages, the lack of resources for specifics is huge. Keeping this in mind, my struggle for further grammatical information, thanks for the video!
