I LOVE sour foods, so I would love to try some lingonberries one day. These videos have been very helpful for me as I try to teach myself Finnish. So Thank you very much!

I spent 6 weeks in the summer of 1997 rowing a small boat around a large lake near Outokumpu every evening with a book and some beer - pure heaven! I agree with you on chanterelles - delicious! - and the blueberries too. One of my colleagues was always delayed and would appear out of the forest with his mouth stained blue, saying that he had a problem with some equipment, but we knew the real reason for his delay!

I visited Finland last summer i have been there for three weeks that was my first time in europe it was gorgeous i want to live there 😭

Thanks! The whole of Finland has gone crazy since ice-hockey is something of a national sport here. :-)

I still recall the small wild forest strawberries when I was a boy in Germany, Europe is ok if one has time to collect them 😛

It can be, but Finns are used to it since we grow up with it. Many people definitely sleep more in winter, though.
