Could you add "ago, back, before, ahead" to that with different tenses and uses? thanks
@EnglishwithGabby Жыл бұрын
Hi Danny, - Ago and back: typically used with simple past, simple progressive and sometimes past perfect - Before can be used with many tenses. It's often used with past tenses > I went to NY before traveling to Maine. it's used with since. > I was studying before I went to the party. > Before I had gone to Italy, I learned Italian However, it can also be used for the future: > Before she goes to work, she will eat breakfast. Ahead is an adverb, so the uses are very broad. As "go ahead" we can use it with almost any tense

Thank you dear teacher 🙏🏻🙏🏻 can i ask a question about *sips tea* ? How can we use it in sentences?
@EnglishwithGabby Жыл бұрын
I'm so sorry, I just saw this now. "Sips tea" is a comment we use to show that we're minding our business. We typically add it to the end of a sentence (mainly gossip or an opinion) > Did you see that Diana has two boyfriends? Sips tea.
