At 8:11 I believe there is an error. Mille = one thousand but the sentence translates to "mile" as in 5,280 ft. Am I missing something?

Thank you for your comment. Mille is one thousand. You are correct. However, in the sentence, we are talking about another "mile/mille", an old measurement.
