This is so interesting, I am a Spanish native speaker and sometimes when I am speaking English I wanna use "Usted" to show respect but there is not a word and in Deutsch I found it. I am so happy :). Btw, danke du (Idk if I can say that hahaha) Excellent explanation.

lol fun fact did you know that in middle english, “thou” was informal way of saying “you” and “you” was the formal way of saying “you?” idk why we dropped the “thou” and continued with the formal “you “ hahahah hope that wasn’t confusing xd

I have a doubt at 6:55 Das sind Petra und Jürgen This is Petra and Jürgen I think we have to translate this sentence as 'These are Petra and Jürgen' because this is plural and the word 'sind' means 'are'
