As a German, I would like to say that this is a nice introductory video, but I also want to point out that the correct usage of nicht/kein is mixed up in the video around 10:50. One would say "Ich spreche kein Deutsch/Englisch/Spanisch." to express that one doesn't speak the language in question at all. If someone listens to you talk to your friend on the phone, asks you what language it is that you are speaking and whether it is, e.g., Spanish, then you could reply with "Nein, ich spreche nicht Spanisch, sondern Italienisch.", for example. Kein (none) indicates not speaking at all while nicht (not) just indicates that you are not using it there and then. Hope this helps.

Keine Sorge. Even many Germans have a few problems with the cases. So if you talk to someone here, cases won't cause that many problems. It just sounds kinda weird. You can even just say a few scraps of words and we can understand you :) Sorry if my english translation isn't correct. Anyways, have a good day :)

@@WhiteWolfYT964 Oh thanks. I totally forgot this comment still exists lmao. But you can do it, I swear! With a little bit of practice every 2 or 3 days, you can actually improve your german level a lot! Watching german video creators can also really help you (good example for that is James Bray, just look him up if you want to lol). German KZbinrs can also help. Really good ones are (just in my opinion ofc) Renzo, Alicia Joe, JustNero and so on. Start with english subtitles and when you feel safe enough you can continue with german ones. Look up the words you don't know and you'll notice that your understanding improves step by step. Listening to german music is also a great way of learning. Cro, TJ-Beast boy, Bausa, LEA, Mark Forster, Das Lumpenpack... Don't give up. I know it seems hard at first but that's how I taught myself english. Good luck, buddy🤙🫂

German is very literal which makes it difficult and fun at the same time. I was born in Munich when my father was in the US Army, and studied German in elementary school, later in high school in the states, and then in college. It's been a long time since I have spoken it. I'm going to be fluent soon for when I go back in the next year or two, hopefully.

I've been learning German so I can talk to my cousin's who live in 15 different different countries. We all speak German, and 2 different languages. Some of us speak English too. But most do not. I also spent entirely too much time with my great grandparents, they where from the wehymar and I learned German before I learned English. Then I had to go to public school, which made me learn English. I am pretty rusty on my advanced German. But I like to watch and learn things multiple times from different aspects. So this video really helps.

Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!
